I don't care how many times it's changed in the past....I LOVE the old Coat
of Arms.
This smacks of how the BSA tried to "redesign and engineer themselves" in
the early
70s (there were some reasons other than their own redesign and
reenginnering...but mainly
to put a more "uptown" spin on the entire Scouting program). It
failed. It failed because
people knew the BSA as the Boy Scouts of America, not "Scouting/USA."
People on our campuses know us through our letters, through our coat of
arms, and through
the good works we do on those campuses and in our communities. We have
invested a LOT
into the current coat of arms and we should not be "messing around" with
who we are.
