I have recently set up a database for keeping track of the chapter &
staff information for Region III using Microsoft Access. Still putting a
few finishing touches on it and such, but it's functional already. For
keeping track of chapter information, I'd probably still think that, for
the vast majority of chapters out there, the best bet is a simple
database consisting of Excel Spreadsheets and such. Excel is still much
easier to use and maintain, and even if an Access database is set up, if
the chapter wants to update it in the future (as far as changing fields
and forms and such), you still need to have someone with some technical
knowledge of Access available (which is probably no problem for some
schools out there, but a lot of schools/chapters out there may not
always have some "techie" brother in the chapter),...
