I know that our history is strongly tied to FRH's experiences in WWI.
However Alpha Phi omega has a tie to the Spanish American War as well.
Admiral Wat Cluverius who served on the National Board from 1934 to 1938
was a cadet on the Maine when it sunk in Havana Harbor. His testimony at
the time of the initial investigation is considered one of the key points
in research of the sinking.
