Hello everyone and welcome back from your holiday break.
This time of year is when many youth service organizations are interviewing
for staff positions in their summer camp programs. In particular, all camp
programs need employees who are at least 21 and others who are at least
18 years of age. The type of skills needed vary widely, but most important
is enjoyment of working with kids. Some training is usually available.
Here are some links which can be used to find contact information for
various programs that may be hiring for either day camp or resident
(overnight) camp programs.

4-H, YMCA/YWCA, the Salvation Army, and Boys' and Girls' Clubs and
other organizations also have local camps for children. These positions
provide great opportunities to meet and work with kids and learn a lot, too,
including developing your leadership and management skills.
In addition to camp staff positions, some of these organizations also have
internship positions available. Contact local councils to find out about
opportunities.
