I really enjoyed myself in New Orleans at the convention. Each
time I go I learn something different. And the black and white
forum, hosted by Jim Hahn, was very comfortable and expressive.
Brothers from HBCU chapters were able to express who they are and how
they became. I even met a brother who pledged at Howard University
in 1951. I met him before, but it was great to hear him speak on his
past. It was a great idea to open up that dialog. There was
actually an attempt last convention, but it didn't get accepted.

Also I spoke to several brothers, and even though the HBCU resolution
didn't pass, they appreciated the massive support that the resolution
received.

I was most impress in attendence the National President for Gamma
Sigma Sigma, as well as some members of Gamma Sigma Sigma. She
attended several forums and was well received. I'm eager to find out
about other convention news as it become available, please share.
