You know, we went over Title IX with you back in April!!! It has NOTHING to do with whether or not APO is federally funded. Title IX deals with sex discrimination at schools which receive federal funding. Having organizations that turn away women at their schools would be viewed as sex discrimination. Socials were exempted from Title IX. APO was not. Read your APO history. The current Pledge Manual covers this. The History CD spends more time on it. There was the very real problem that APO chapters would be shut down at schools due to Title IX. And back in April I gave an example of a group which was sued under Title IX.

And what's wrong with that??? I think its proper that APO chapters SHOULD refect the school demographics as much as possible. And it WAS students who decided to make APO co-ed. It was the voting delegates at the 1976 National Convention, mainly composed of actives.
