#> I've said it before, and I still state it. I don't like the
#> concept of A Phi Q. We are a co-ed, multi-colored, DIVERSE
#> Fraternity. If some people would like to have an all-male, all-
#> black Fraternity, they should go start it.

(Fuzzy, what is the concept A-Phi-Q? How can you begin to like what
you do not understand. It's like a nation that has a culture that
is not to your liking. And because you do not understand you want
to bomb it from it's exsitence. I myself was culturely born into
it. Like some members are born into a coed style of membership. In
our world, we fitted to the fraternity as our fraternity fitted to
our culture. Then, I was apart of a DIVERSE fraternity, because it
accepted us the way we were. But what is DIVERSE? Is it every race
that conforms to what you like today, or is it every race including
their culture. In Alpha Phi Omega, we not like a diverse America
like we should be. And even in that case, America is not a melting
pot, it's more like mixed vegetables. You can mix it all, but corn
is corn and string beans is string beans. You should not want it to
be a melting pot and try to melt off what you do not want. Or even
melt the corn until they turn into string beans. The effort should
be an attempt to understand the desires, not force conformity.

#>They should NOT sully the name of this fine Fraternity with hazing
#>and other negative things. Call the hazing "bonding" if you would
#>like. It still doesn't sit well with me.

Hazing never sits well with me either. I hate to break this to you,
but not all A-Phi-Ques haze, and not all are black. I really think
that hazing is not neccessary to develop a dedicated fraternity
brother. This idea, that Ay-Phi-Que is synonomous with hazing is an
idea you allowed to enter your head by outside the ring
understanding. When you are on the outside of issue you can only
see the images your mind makes up. And just like an incomplete
story, your mind automatically creates the ending. This is not
saying that hazing never occurred in Alpha Phi Omega, because I know
it did. But not even half of all hazing incidents was created by Ay-
Phi-Que chapters. Being an Ay-Phi-Que, I'll still stop what I see
as being non-appropriate by undergraduates if I see it. But admit I
still hear the horror storys, but I still here the horror stories
in non-AyPhiQue chapters as well.

I just don't know where you are going with your statements so I have
to attempt to put an end to the speculations that all Ay-Phi-Ques
are the same and that they always haze.
