A Phi Q (also used is AyPhiQue) is an abbreviation for Alpha Phi Omega
used almost exclusively at chapters at Historically Black Colleges and
Universities. These chapters tend to be all-male and have strong
relationships with the Gamma Sigma Sigma chapters at their school and
other HBCUs.

Some of the traditions in those chapters reflect the different
characteristics of Greek Culture at these schools such as participating in
Step Shows and significant interest in the position in the pledge line.
