Well-said, with the exception of the use of the term "poorer minority". I don't think consideration of those who aren't financially wealthy should be limited to minorities. That doesn't serve the greater purpose of Alpha Phi Omega, or society in general.
That brings to mind a question. How would chapters be able to maintain a membership that reflects the economic, and not just gender/racial, diversity of the campus if the fees were raised?
