Brothers;
I will throw in my nickel about raising fee's
I see if the rise of pledging fee's to $100 would put many chapters out
of business as well as kill growth in many ares especially in rural areas.
There are colleges around the country that don't have many a Greek system
or if they do it is weak. I would hate to see APO be out of reach of
students that want to be in APO. I also don't think it is right to finance
the Fraternity on the backs of pledges. Many chapters are having trouble
currently getting pledges and instead of growing we will decrease our
numbers. We cant look at what Greek organizations dues are but also other
service organizations like Circle K. We must stay competitive in the 21st
century and I am afraid that having pledges pay $100 to join won't make us
competitive.
