So many state employees, so many jurisdictions. I'll add Ohio and make a
comment about government rates at hotels. Some hotels will only give them
when you are "on duty" others will offer them regardless of the purpose of
your trip. (So I'm told, Never happened to me)
One important thing to watch is not to assume that this or that discount is
a good deal. I've made a couple of trips where I was eligible for some
particular rate that was a better deal then the "government" rate.
