I didn't attend the 1986 Convention, but I did attend the 1988 Convention
which was the first (as I understand) to have any electronically related
seminars. It was called "APO & Computers" and had about 20 brothers show
up, 5 of which were from Kappa (Carnegie-mellon) and 5 were from Alpha Chi
(MIT) and I don't thank any other chapter has more than two. I remember
that we sort of figuring out what we could do to help the fraternity since
we as undergraduates were so much more advanced in terms of access to
email and similar things than the national Office. We also bemoaned that
none of the national Board had email, and tried to link those of use who
did. I have the list of people who were there with their email somewhere.
I think both Charlie Z and Ellen Kranser were there...
