Just to add something, not only are they started by Key Club alumni, but it
might be a regular condition of their scholarships. I knew someone at my
undergrad school who received a scholarship through Key Club, and one of its
requirements was starting a Circle K chapter at our school.
I really don't think this is an option for us. I will also point out that
the chapter eventually did not make, as it was forced to shut down when
Circle K increased its minimum chapter membership amount to 20.
