Actually... I do....
Kiwanis , Key Club , and Circle K do a pretty poor job of tracking graduation
from one group into the next. If they tracked the graduations better..ie high
school to college, college to work force...they'd have a much better rate
of retention from one group into the next.
That being said, most of the new clubs that Circle K forms occurs as a result
of a former Key Clubber starting the process at their new college.
All three of the Circle K clubs in the Philadelphia area that started in the
last two years could be attributed to leadership provided by a Key Club alumni.
I worked with a Key Club alumni to start the club at Cabrini College this last
year. Two years ago, the charter president at Drexel Circle K was a Key Club
alumni..and the forming club at LaSalle University is being put together by
two Key Club alumni.
If you look at the biographies of the International and District (Regiional)
Officers for Circle K, you will find that most of them are Key Club alumni.
Unless APO had a high school group / affiliate, I don't see how this could work
for us. Scouts isn't a direct enough connection IMHO.
