I'm a long time reader and first time poster as well, but had to jump in on
this topic...
The idea of gathering a list of non-profit internships for members would
prove to be a great service to the members of the fraternity. I know that my
search for a graduate internship for next summer starts in the fall (while
hopefully at Business school). Alpha Phi Omega has allowed myself to develop
as a leader and recieve countless opportunities. However, as I have begun a
search for internships with nonprofit organizations, there is no easy way to
find these and apply. By compiling a list Alpha Phi Omega would do members a
great service, or at least provide the name of books that list such
opportunities.
