This is simply an idea to be considered by fellow brothers:

How about an internship program through the Fraternity? Most everyone in
the Fraternity already have pretty extensive knowledge of the non-profit
world simply by being in our grand old Fraternity...knowledge that could
benefit non-profit organizations.

If the Fraternity were to contact organizations like America's Promise,
YSA, BSA, GSUSA, etc - perhaps they would be looking for young graduate or
undergraduate interns.

This would benefit the fraternity by, most probably, eventually putting
brothers in leadership positions throughout the private non profit world.

It would benefit the brothers by giving them an oppurtunity to be interned
by non profits of great stature in a job climate where the place you
interned is almost as important as the place where you graduated.

It would benefit the non profit organizations by giving them our brothers,
the people who we (or at least I) believe are some of the best leaders on
our various campuses.

I'd appreciate hearing what you all thought.

(Oh yeah, long time reader - first time poster :-))
