other than war. That actually
was intented to be done by helping to develop
these young men. I
never knew there was a female leader of
Pakistan. But you cannot
object to the focus of Supplement Manhood
Development that was in
Frank Reed Horton, no matter how you look at it
today. Sure women
can learn Friendship, leadership and service.
I never said that
they shouldn't. What's just plain wrong is not
letting a group
follow in the footsteps of Frank Reed HOrton.
That door should have
never been closed. It was the very idea that
created this
organization. That you can't deny. You can't
have peace when
you are turning away peaceful individuals.
Somebody's bound to get
upset. And who knows it just might be the
spirit of Frank Reed
Horton himself just attempting to make things
totally right.

>As ahead of his time as he was, I just don't
think he could have
>envi-sioned the gender equality that we have
nowadays.

How do you know. We don't know what he would
be thinking. He might
very well be thinking like his age and times.
There are plenty of things that
didn't get changed until he died. The Boy
Scout requirement didn't
get removed until 1967. And he died in 1966.

What makes the
gender equality that we have today, have
anything to do with what
Frank envisoned anyway. Think about it. We
placed gender equality
in a fraternity because we had to. Not because
WE were thinking
about gender equality. Gender quality was
forced upon us as we
are forcing it upon any individual groups that
comes to us.

Don't think that I don't want women in this
organization. I really don't mind, if thats
what they want to do. I just want "anybody" to
have a chance to join, just as they use to.
