Here's a new use for the Clearinghouse that has been suggested. Anyone who
has been around APO-L for a while knows that there are many posts asking
for ideas about how other chapters do something. Certainly the discussion
on APO-L is wonderful in helping a chapter to hammer out these
things. Wouldn't it be wonderful though if at the start of the discussion
the person could be pointed to a collection of material which they could
browse through for ideas?
So this is the suggestion, chapters who would like to participate send me a
copy of your by-laws and/or pledge requirements. I will post them to the
respective sections of the Leadership Resources Clearinghouse. Then in
addition to all the other information from workshops available on those
topics, Brothers can also look at examples of what other chapters do.
Additionally similar questions often arise about how different sections
operate. Therefore I would also like to extend an invitation to Section
Chairs to send me copies of their staff guides which will be posted on the
staff page in the Clearinghouse.
