hi...i haven't posted here in a VERY long time...but i think a lot of you
know me from SOC...for those who don't, i'm renee' from the alpha omicron
chapter, getting ready to work with eta iota this fall, but that's another
story for another post...anyway...about the paper cranes and all...

the cranes were an expression of grief...outwardly, they may not seem to
have any outward purpose, but to the person who is grieving, they mean a
lot...and to the others who helped, whetherthey themselves were grieving
or not, the cranes are also going to mean a lot...the person has no right
to criticize this outlet of grief. i've worked with hospice, and grief has
many outlets...but anyway, the discussion isn't over grief outlets, it's
about the political thing...and here's my take on politics and the
fraternity...

i don't think the fraternity as a whole, or individual chapters should get
involved in political movements, because there are so many different
political viewpoints, and everything else i have to say has also pretty
much already been said, so i'm going to leave it at that. sorry, that was
rather anticlimactic, but i wanted to post my opinion without being TOO
redundant...

The map is not the territory, but you can't fold up the territory and
put it in the glove compartment.
