So I was thinking, and I know that is dangerous but...

I seem to remember back at convention time that there was a good amount of
technology consulting going on at the National office. Things like
bringing the office up to the 20th Century in computers and internet
connections and databases and things like that. I seem to also remember
that technology has been part of the long range goals of the Fraternity.
(I don't remember off hand if it was an old goal, new goal, or continued
goal. I'm about to fall asleep at my desk so I'll look it up later.)

Maybe we should ask for an update on what has happened so far?

Maybe this would be a good evaluation as to whether the whole concept of
the new website and technology is beafy enough to hold up under the demand
we undergrads and alumni place on the system.

This could be a mid stream evaluation. Might be good. Might just clog up
the works that are already in place. I don't know.

I think though that a little report of the status and future plans for
technology in the National organization may be in order. But I am not in a
possition to know if this is good, bad, or warented from the perspective
of those on the front line. Hence I propose someone ask your Region
Director or call Pat and get back to the list. Ya know ask someone in
charge what's up. That way maybe we will find out that Fuzz is gunna kep
working on the site, but that he is waiting for the new T-3 to be
connected. I mean did anyone consider that as a possability?

That's my .02 Dollars.
