Yes, in the past few years we have used 3 differnet council's camps.

Yes, according to the local policy, or it might be a new natoinal policy,
we are required to either be a registered scouting organization, or show
proof of a $1,000,000 insurance policy.

We have done this by registering as an explorer post, but will likely be
chaning to a venture crew in the next year of so.

It is my understanding that this has happened so that groups that come and
use scouting facilities, can not sue the local council or the Boy Scoouts
IF something does go wrong.
