Directions to the Mid Town Inn and Virginia Commonwealth University for the
1999 Alpha Phi Omega section 83 conference hosted by the Alpha Delta Iota
chapter at VCU.
Directions
To Midtown Conference Center:
3200 West Broad Street Richmond, Virginia 23230 804.359.3189
Traveling north on I-95: Take Exit 78 (Boulevard Exit.) Merge to the left.
Take a right on Robin Hood Road. Take the next left onto Boulevard. Drive 1/4
mile to Broad Street and make a right (there is a 7-11 on the corner.) The
hotel is three blocks on the right.
Traveling south on I-95: Take I-64 west/ I-195 Exit 79. Bear to the left onto
I-195/ Powhite Parkway. Take the Broad Street exit, then merge to the right
towards Broad Street. Take a left onto Broad Street. The hotel is one block
on the left.
Traveling west on I-64: Take I-64 West to I-95 North and take exit 78. Merge
left under the overpass. Take a right at the light onto Robin Hood Road, and
then take the next left onto Boulevard. Drive 1/4 mile to Broad Street and
make a right (there is a 7-11 on the corner.) The hotel is three blocks on
the right.
Traveling east on I-64: Take Exit 186 and stay to the left and take the next
left exit onto I-195/ Powhite parkway. Take the Broad Street exit, then merge
to the right towards Broad Street. Take a left onto Broad Street. The hotel
is one block on the left.
To Virginia Commonwealth University:
Traveling North on I-95: When you cross the James River bridge in Richmond on
I-95 get in your right lane and look for the Broad Street, MCV Hospital exit.
Take this exit and stay in your right lane all the way up onto Broad Street
west. Once on Broad Street travel approximately 3 1/2 miles until you reach
Belvedere. It is a big intersection with a Rite Aid on your right and a Merit
gas station on your left. Take a left onto Belvedere and go though two
stoplights. At the third stoplight take a right onto Main Street, go to your
next stoplight and make a left onto Laurel Street. The parking deck is
located on your right.
Traveling South on I-95: On I-95 south in Richmond, look for the Chamberlayne
Avenue Exit on your right. Once you take this exit get into the middle left
turning lane at the light. Take a left onto Leigh Street staying in your
right lane. At the next light is Chamerlayne Avenue where you will take a
right. Travel on Chamberlayne Avenue going through four stoplights. At the
fifth stoplight take a right onto Main Street, and go to your next stoplight
and make a left onto Laurel Street. The parking deck is located on your
right.
Traveling East on I-64: Once in Richmond on I-64 look for the I-95 South
exit. Take I-95 south and look for the Chamberlayne Avenue Exit on your
right. Once you take this exit get into the middle left turning lane at the
light. Take a left onto Leigh Street staying in your right lane. At the next
light is Chamerlayne Avenue where you will take a right. Travel on
Chamberlayne Avenue going through four stoplights. At the fifth stoplight
take a right onto Main Street, and go to your next stoplight and make a left

Traveling West on I-64: Take the 5th street/ Downtown exit. Go through two
stoplights and at the third stoplight take a right onto Broad Street. Travel
approximately 2 miles until you reach Belvedere. It is a big intersection

left onto Belvedere and go though two stoplights. At the third stoplight take
a right onto Main Street, go to your next stoplight and make a left onto
