Hi Jeremy,
As a matter of fact, we just had our 43/44 Bisectional conference this
past weekend (Thank you Trinity U.!!) I'm not exactly sure how things up in 99
go, but we usually all get in Friday sometime, have roll call that night, have
seminars and workshops during the day saturday and banquet that night. Then
everyone packs up on sunday morning before check out time at the hotel. Am I
correct in understanding that there is no overnight involed at all at your
conferences? I get as much out of a Bi-Sectionals by just hanging out during
the evening, meeting and partying with members from other chapters, as I do
during the days. I met a few people from Nu Sigma and Alpha Rho that I never
would've met during the day just by wandering through the hotel at night. And
I'll be looking for the same people at Regionals and Bi-Sectionals in the next
year. In my opinion, having an overnight portion to the conference is critical
from a brotherhood/entertainment standpoint. Just my nickel's worth. Have a
good one!
