Howdy all... a bit of bad news to pass along. Amber Lightwine, a brother
and member of Xi Delta chapter, along with her roommate's fiance were
killed Sunday as they were driving to College Station from the Dallas
area. A driver coming the opposite direction fell asleep at the wheel
and rammed their vehicle head on. The driver was taken to a hospital
where he was later pronounced dead. Amber was a junior, and a member of
the Father William T. Cunningham pledge class.
For those who are in the CS area and interested, we will be holding a
memorial service tomorrow, the 10th, at 8:30 pm in room 212 of the
Memorial Student Center. Though I'm not positive, I believe funeral
services will be held this weekend in the Tulsa vacinity, where she was
from.
