well beings im a member of region VI i woul dhave to say weve not had a
joint sectionals... but DONT QUOTE ME!!!
i think the reason for this is that each state in the region is its own
section (for the time being) and were so far apart that we really couldnt
have anything together... maybe Westen ( gamma Phi) and Valpraiso (?)
possibly, but.... i know that a section conference in MI draws more and
more people each semester... top numbers ranging in the 240+ range right
now... our regional conferences usually draw about that same number...plus
MI holds sectionals each semester ( unless we have a regional) and IN and
i believe IL hold only spring sectionals...
like i said... dont quote me on this, but thats would be my reasoning for
not holding a joint conference...
now if we split MI, of course wed have a joint sectional... MI wouldnt be
the same without Michigan Tech to party with...and they would prolly be
part of that split... ( UP to another section or the western half on MIand
theeastern half without them)
