Funny is that I distinctly remember a Region 1,2 convention- I believe it was
in 1991- where there was a membership seminar, at which it was mentioned that
the recommended pledge period was 3-6 weeks, not 6-10. I believe a mr Vance
Hart was the head of this seminar. I am surprised that the National Office
would lengthen their suggestions, especially in the face of mounting nationwide
concerns on fraternity pledging incidents.
Suppose an APO school abolished pledgig at its fraternities altogether. Then
what?
