Question to all: Is there a chapter out there that, due to academic
calendar restriction is not able to attend the Convention when held during
its current time?

If not, is it right to move the convention to a date when this occurs.

I know there are a number of schools out there on the quarter system that
are in session all year round. Not some catch up summer session, but a
full summer quarter. Drexel University is one such institution. By moving
the convention to the summer, you would be greatly increasing the
likelihood that schools such as Drexel would not be able to send
representatives. This is not right!

I can hear the counter argument know. "But it could increase the
likeliness of other chapters attending." There is a big difference between
a chapter not having a delegate for individual financial or personal
reasons and restricting a chapter from having representation because of
their academic calendar.

Drexel has attending all convention since its founding, many in force, a
fact that we are very proud of.

It would be wrong for this chapter and others like it to be deprived of
that opportunity.

Respectively yours,

Oscar
