John S. makes a great point. A great numebr of colleges and
universities conduct camp and conferences in the summer time to generate
extra revenue for their programs. The National Affiliate of College and
University Residence Halls (NACURH) always holds their conferences on
college campuses.
ACUHO-I (Association of College and University Housing Offices-
International), a professional conference for housing and residence life
folks also holds the bulk of their conferences on campus. Some people
choose to stay in hotels, but most stay on campus.
There are many campuses now that have air conditioned rooms and the
whole nine yards.
This might be something to think about. To keep in mind.
