hi all,
in reference to summer conventions, i can see both the bad and the
good, but who says that they would have to be held in a hotel??
i know that my own campus will use its facilities for conventions
throughout the entire summer.
i also know of several fraternities and sororities that hold their
conventions in the summer seemingly without any problems. i can think of
more good reasons to hold a convention in the summer than in the winter.
(snow, cold, travel)
also to correct the misleading fact that most people have off work during
the christmas week, i know of several people that have jobs that will not
allow them to take off between christmas and new year's (sometimes even a
few days before and after)
talk to you,
