Good Day!

Its been quite a while since signing on to APO-L that I have written a post.
So, I said to myself -- its time to post. Its time to recognize another year
has passed, another year of service to community is done, another year for
service to our community begin once more.

Over the past eight years, I have seen many changes in APO. Some I like and
some I could careless. But one thing is certain, my willingness to serve has
never diminished.

So today, this day of celebration of the life and times of Dr. Martin Luther
King, I would encourage you all to participate in a service to the community --
and recognize the dreams and inspirations of us all -- that nations will settle
their differences in a peaceful manner, rather than wage war -- that Brothers
and Sisters will be judged not by the color of their skin, but of the content
of their character -- that we rise up and give thanks for each and every day
as a blessing.

Whether you are spirtual, religious, or just proud to serve your community; take
heed to how beneficial your work is -- that sometimes, yes sometimes, those who
never get the rewards and praises of life, receive the greatest gift of all;
affection and understandings, compassion and comprehendings, and attention and
blessings.

To All My Brothers in Alpha Phi Omega,
Praise Be With You - This day and all days!

In Leadership, Friendship, and Service
Hayim Weiss
