Hey All:
I just wanted to let everybody know that the Region V Express to
Minneapolis still has about 10 seats left. We currently have over 30
brothers from Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania, WVA, KY, TN and Indiana. It
looks like it's going to be a great roadtrip.
The bus is still only $125 and if you live in the area please consider
hopping aboard.
The Express Schedule:
Saturday December 26th
4:00pm Depart Columbus, OH Upper Arlington Firehouse - 3861 Reed Road
6:00pm Depart Dayton, OH University of Dayton Football Arena
Sunday December 27th
7:00am Minneapolis, MN (BBRRRRRRR!!!!)
Friday Jan 1st
9:00am Depart Minneapolis, MN
10:00pm Arrive Dayton, OH
11:30pm Arrive Columbus, OH
As you may have noticed we are leaving around 9:00am on the 1st. This
should allow all of us to "recover" from our New Years Festivities.
The bus is equipped with a VCR and TV monitors so if you want to bring some
movies to share that would be great. In addition, we are going to provide a
couple of coolers so that you guys can bring pop and stuff on the bus.
Which reminds me, since this is an Region V sponsored event, there will be
no "OPEN" alcoholic beverages on the bus. If you want to bring it for the
hotel, that's okay with me as long as you
keep it closed and do not consume it on the bus.
If you do, you will be asked to put it away or throw it away. If you
persist you will have to find alternative transportation to or from the
convention. I am sorry if this seems harsh, but I am required by the
charter company to pass this information to you.
As for food, please feel free to bring anything you want as we should have
plenty of room. We will have juice, fruit and other breakfast stuff for
Sunday 12/27. Also you might want to bring a sweater or sweatshirt for the
bus. Sometimes these buses can have a hard time making everyone
comfortable.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email me at
jstacy@netwalk.com or call me at home at (614) 818-4584. Hope you all have
a great holiday and we'll be seeing you in Minneapolis.
Yours in Service,
John S.
