true, but because of housing discrimination laws, you would not be able
to create a development where 'only' apo brothers and families could
live....otherwise it would be discrimination....

this is actually a total separate issue from what is to be decided at
nationals....

it doesnt matter what 'we' think the meaning of a house is, but what
does the case law in the respective state define as a house, or whatever
word we use in our bylaws....in reality a lawyer should be consulted if
there is even a miniscule chance of this amendment being
passed....otherwise there should be an enacting clause allowing someone
(possibly the board) to change the pertinent sections with respect to
the bylaws and
housing....this is an amendment written by students, not lawyers....

if this amendment passes, there needs to be a way of changing the
pertinent sections to insure that they are legally sound, otherwise we
may have to deal with a legally unsound amendment for two years, which
could create a few legal problems.....

btw, i am a first year law student.....and i do not claim to know what
the hell im talking about....because of my limited schooling i could be
totally wrong.....but i seriously recommend talking to a lawyer because
s/he will know what they are talking about and there is no reason to
place the fraternity or any of the chapters in legal jeopardy.....
