We require ten per semester for actives and pledges alike. We used to
require fifteen from the pledges, but the issue was brought up that that
could be considered hazing, so we reduced their requirement to match
that of the actives'.
I've always thought our hours requirement was useless: people that
care get much more than ten hours, and people that don't care don't
get any.
