That statement has an air of falshood to it as There are still all male
chapters. Therefore the fraternity would have survived. Even if the
nationals went under individual chapters would still continue to survive as
has been demonstrated in the past. Campuses which had clasified as inactive
chapters weren't realy inactive they just went ghost and eventually
resurfaced to there section chairs and nationals suprise.
Granted alpha phi omega would not be the same as today but it may very well
have still survived as many social fraternitys have.
As for the alpha chapter there are students from there campus working on
rechartering hopefully it will be completed by the convention in 2000,
although it may not be.
