What do you mean by racial issues?
As far as I know we were one of the first--if not THE first--national
fraternities to integrate. Zeta Phi chapter at Howard University in
Washington DC was one of the first APO chapters at an Historically Black
school. I believe that Zeta Phi was founded in the early-mid 1950's.
BTW, One of that chapter's founding Brothers, Col. Lucius Young, went
on to become National President.
