Brothers:
At Tau Chapter, University of Florida, the only policies we have on
Actives dating Pledges, is that, that Active may not vote on any issue
dealing with that semester's pledge class. This prevents any
perceptions of power over the pledge and the pledge class as a whole if
things turn out bad. Also, it should go without saying, that the
Pledgemaster should NOT date any of the pledges. Our policy on that is,
if the pledgemaster is dating a pledge, s/he will be immediately removed
from office, and chapter will elect a new pledgemaster. This policy has
worked well for us so far. As others have said in past posts, I don't
thing there should be a ban on dating pledges since. What will happen
will happen.
