rosebud /vicepa allso filled (while I was trying to fix some things on
the solaris machine and using temp space there.) Richard suggested
that shutting down the fileserver (during some lull) and doing a
salvager run would be a Good Idea, perhaps following it with a
real-disk fsck on that partition which might free up some lost blocks.
(Sorry for not mentioning this sooner, but I thought I might
have time to find out what the relevant commands actually were.)
