This is completely unreasonable. The SIPB simply does not have the
space to keep around 90 megabytes for emacs 19.
I don't recall the SIPB meeting at which you were appointed the
official SIPB AFS disk space czar. Perhaps you could refer me to the
relevant excerpts from meeting minutes?
Emacs 19 is a worthwhile project. There are people at MIT who want to
use it. Since the SIPB's purpose is to provide service to the user
community, if we can make it available to users, it seems to me that
we should *find* space for it.
In any case, a polite request asking Ken to try to be more
conservative in his disk space usage would have gone a lot farther
than the mail you sent.
