/usr/athena/etc doesn't exist on ronald-ann (the patch won't work
because of this, incidentally).

The synclocker script relies on 7 programs on the system packs (grep,
kdestroy, logger, mail, tee, touch, zwrite) and one in the net cell
(krbtgp). I suppose synclocker would be more robust if we copied all
of these local, but I'm not sure it's worth it. It's just not that
critical that the athena cell copy is completely up-to-date.

The other obvious question is whether to update ronald-ann from 7.2R
to 7.4G. According to the machine proposal, we're losing ronald-ann in
ten months. Since there don't seem to be many reasons to upgrade
except for getting the 7.3/7.4 filesystem organization, I'd suggest
skipping this, too.

Matt

P.S., The directory /afs/sipb/project/ronald-ann/usr/local/sync has a
backup copy of the synclocker script, if anyone's interested.
