   Well, it *was* working okay.  I tried all of these things.  Anyway, if
   you really have to, you can grab the bad tty with a telnet connection,
   and then rkinit and rlogin will work.

I tried this (telnet'ing to rosebud, leaving the telnet connection
open, and running rkinit/rlogin) and it didn't work).

If it's working for you and not for me, then perhaps someone did
something to screw up the list of people who are allowed to log in?

Has anybody touched that stuff recently?  Barry, you're the person who
came up with the scripts, could you please check them to make sure
they're working OK?

I am now able to log in as root, so at this point, the problem seems
confined to me not being able to log in as me.
