What reason is there to create a separate volume just to compile
something in? We have never done that before -- the sipbsrc
locker has always been used directly to do development in.
I see no advantage to creating separate volumes just to get a
package ready to install it in the sipbsrc locker.
Oh!.. . . ok, I'll move it and destroy the volume, sorry about that.
I was under the impression that sipbsrc was for stuff that actually
worked and was installed in /afs/athena/contrib/sipb, and project
volumes were for stuff that didn't yet work and might never...
Also, Ken, note that there are X11 Imakefile templates for X
programs in /mit/sipbsrc/src/X11-config.
Ok, thanks.
