Sure, I was for example thinking of the discussion over zephyr
following [2189], in which there seemed to be some reasonable level of
agreement that the Micropolis disk on rosebud was bad, but nothing was
sent out via mail suggesting that volumes not be moved onto that disk.
It's possible that everyone directly familiar with the problems was
too busy with classes to send out specific suggestions via mail. This
is fine, of course, but I still believe there was enough uncertainty
about the disk situation, over the next 7 weeks, that people
unfamiliar with the details probably shouldn't have been deciding on
their own to move volumes around, regardless of whether other
partitions went over, say, 90% full.
