I installed a new version of afs2sl.pl that should handle AFS 3.3a
better. See the RCS logs in /afs/sipb/service/afs/usr/local/bin for
more details. I also started afs2sl.pl running on reynelda.
On two unrelated notes, I added the files /etc/localusers and
/etc/non-local-users on reynelda so that the machine can now send
mail as root@reynelda.mit.edu. Also on reynelda, I added the
cron script /usr/local/bin/disk-error.pl which will send mail to
sipb-afsreq@mit.edu if certain strings starting with "/vmunix: sd"
show up in /var/adm/messages.
The afs2sl.pl script does not itself send mail, nor does it, to
my knowledge, produce disk errors.
