Yes, this is the same thing that Athena is using (modulo CPU/OS
differences).  Of course they don't have DECstation backup servers, so
I can't check that the binaries are identical.

Actually, I think we're keeping them around on hodge too.  I was
planning on just making a tgz-ball out of /usr/afs/backup, and putting
it in project.newdump.
