I think that trying to do any part of the cutover on Thanksgiving
weekend is unrealistic, and a bad idea. In addition to the points
Matt mentioned, I beleive it will be pushing things to expect the 4G
disk to be ready by then. Even if purchsing orders the disk in the
next couple of days, we can expect it to take 2-3 business days to get
in. After that I'd like to see some tests run on it, at least over
night. Now remember that next week is a three day week, and it will
be difficult to get the disk from e40 late next week. Also keep in
mind that Matt and I (the two people who did most of the last
migration), and maybe other AFS admins probably won't be available for
much of the weekend. IMHO we are trying to race into this a little
bit; having the RS6K for an extra week isn't likely to kill anything.
