We have our new SS20s. They have floppy drives and internal CD-ROM
drives, and we have a SunOS installation disk. They also came with two
16MB memory upgrades, and one of the machines had some extra memory in
it, so we're not entirely sure how much memory the machines have now.
In the end, two of them will have 48MB and one will have 160MB, but the
news server memory isn't all here yet.

Some assembly was required for the machines (the floppies and CD-ROMs
weren't installed, and the memory upgrades for the two that didn't have
extra memory). Eric and I assembled two of them, and I think he's
finishing up the third one now.

In theory, they should have 1GB of internal disk each. The system
software, swap, and AFS cache will take up 200-350MB of this, I
estimate.

We're also due for two 1GB disks. Unfortunately, operations used one of
them, so we won't get it for a couple of weeks when they order more, but
I should be able to get one of them tomorrow. Both extra disks will
wind up on the AFS server which replaces rosebud, but they will come in
useful as temporary disks while migrating various services.

The first orders of business are migrating the RTFM services and
news-transport.

Enjoy.
