I just got a clue...
I remembered that one of the first things that while doing the ronald-ann
migration I cloned lots of volumes that were .nb accidently Since I sued the
perl script to do the backup I suspect that I did that after the volume was
moved so that a backup colume existed. I am not sure these backups ever got
removed. If the volume that sun4 stuff was in was on r-a someone might want
to poke around and see if a backup volume does in fact exist.
