I have put up 1_60_beta3 for ftp if people want to play with it. It has a lot
of bug fixes but there are still too many outstanding for me to do a release.
This is more of a snapshot than a beta release, and in the future I hope to
make snapshots more frequently, because waiting two months for any bug fixes
is just too long. Since it is a snapshot though I don't make any claims that
it will compile out of the box for all the platforms.
