Did anyone manage to copy down what he said the defintion of "take" was?
In class, we were going over power series solutions, with "take k=2".
Someone asked "why is k 2?", to which he replied something along the lines
of
well, that's embedded in the definition of take... i could use the
formal defintion, which is we allow k to be 2 in blahblahblah spew
spew spew...
which was all very hysterical, especially on 3 hours of sleep...
