I have not been able to install linux on my computer. Slackware and RedHat both die for strange reasons. Redhat loads the Boot
disk fine, but totally dies at the end of the first Ramdisk. All it says is "file system mounted" when it should prompt for the
second ram disk. I used the same install disks to install Redhat on a different computer. Also, the bootdisk identifies all of my
hardware correctly.
Slackware just dies on the boot disk.
